Alexis Hanson, MA (she/her)

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already carrying the weight of anxiety, OCD, depression, or a major life transition. Alexis' goal is to make therapy a place where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. She specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults with OCD, as well as children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, we'll work together to better understand the challenges you're facing and develop practical tools that fit your unique needs.

Alexis don't believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Every person is unique, so she tailors treatment to each individual need. She draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build lasting change.

She strives to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, while also feeling challenged in ways that promote growth. If you're ready to take the next step, Alexis would be honored to be part of your journey.

Alexis completed her undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas and earned her Master's in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She enjoys baking, reading, and taking her yellow lab, Bella on adventures.

Alexis is a pre-licensed professional counselor being supervised by Springwood Therapy Therapist and Owner, Mo Laschen.

Alexis is currently accepting new clients.
